Our Mission
At Hunt Fish Play, our mission is simple but powerful.
To get kids and families back outdoors. We believe
that the lessons learned in the woods, on the water,
and around a campfire are some of the most valuable
in life.
In a world dominated by screens and instant
gratification, many young people are missing the
chance to experience what nature can teach; patience,
respect, resilience, and wonder.
That’s why we’ve made it our mission to reconnect
families with the outdoors through hands-on
experiences, mentorship, and community-driven events
that make the outdoors accessible and exciting for
everyone.
WHAT WE DO
At Hunt Fish Play, we create opportunities for kids and families to reconnect with nature through meaningful
outdoor experiences. Our goal isn’t just to teach kids how to hunt, fish, or camp — it’s to inspire a lifelong respect
for the outdoors, build confidence through adventure, and bring families closer together in the process.
1. Youth Outdoor Education & Events
We host family-friendly outdoor events that give kids a safe, structured, and exciting introduction to the outdoors.
Each event is designed to teach both skill and character, from patience and problem-solving to teamwork and environmental responsibility.
2. Mentorship & Character Development
We pair kids and families with experienced mentors who share not just techniques, but wisdom — how to be patient, prepared, and mindful outdoors.
Through storytelling, shared experiences, and hands-on learning, kids learn the values that make great outdoorsmen and women: humility, safety, perseverance, and respect for nature. Our mentors don’t just teach skills; they model leadership and kindness.
3. Outdoor Media & Storytelling
We document and share our adventures through video, photography, and digital storytelling, turning real experiences into inspiration for others.
Through the HFP YouTube channel and social media platforms, we bring our audience along for the ride, whether it’s a first hunt, a camping trip, or a family fishing weekend.
4. Community Partnerships & Sponsorships
We partner with local businesses, outdoor brands, and community leaders to make the outdoors more accessible for everyone. These partnerships help us fund youth programs, provide gear and resources, and host larger-scale events that reach more families.
